The Champion's Role is to help, motivate, encourage and support learners as they get started and to continue as a local source of flexible and approachable help throughout the course.

We have four Learning Champions, currently supporting learners locally.

Champions receive training in a range of skills that has helped them to support others in their learning. Through their Champion learners have full access to the resources available through the college web site: on-line interactive training and the library service. Books requested on-line are despatched by post via the Champions.
